OS Sitemap™ provides customers with extracts of Ordnance Survey mapping in a number of different formats and to different scales. It is available in hard copy and electronic media. These are:
• Paper (a printed hard copy)
• Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) Intel format. A tagged based file format for storing and interchanging raster images.
• Data Exchange Format (DXF™) conforming to AutoCAD release 12 onwards. This is a proprietary data format owned by Autodesk® by which digital drawings and/or data may be transferred between CAD users. DXF provides a graphic presentation, but the level to which attributes are represented is dependent on the CAD package with which the data is used.
It is available in a range of output scales to suit individual needs and in a number of different colour combinations. OS Sitemap provides a detailed and seamless view of topography of Great Britain, surveyed at one of three basis scales: 1:1250, 1:2500 and 1:10 000. OS Sitemap is produced from the latest digital mapping held on the National Geographic Database. OS Sitemap hard copies can be obtained by post or by a personal visit. OS Sitemap in data formats may be ordered via email.
